We love the parks and recreation opportunities in this community! There are multiple parks with playgrounds within walking distance, one park is less than two blocks away. The park nearest the house has a tennis court, basketball courts, an ice rink in the winter, an open field for baseball or frisbee, as well as a playground. There’s a paved walking path that you can access a few blocks from the house, as well as quite neighborhood roads, for biking, walking etc. The ponds are stocked with fish, and there’s a swim dock on one of them, as well as a boat launch area (non motorized boats).
We love the views from our front and back porches, and the neighborhood is peaceful and generally quiet (there is a train track nearby, and there is occasional train noise, as well as some background noise from nearby plants).
We love that we feel safe, and that the neighbors are friendly.
