It is walking distance to local restaurants and cafes, Frida's, The French Press, ACME, and close to Roth's and Life Source for groceries, Aunt Bee's House for vintage finds. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and safe. The neighbors look out for one another.It's a perfect one story open concept house for a neat professional who needs a quiet sanctuary or an active retiree looking to live an uncomplicated simple lifestyle. The Waldo Cabin has been a successful Airbnb for the last 4 years. As the owner who has painstakingly renovated this property and who will continue to make improvements on the property, I am looking for a renter who will respect the space and take care of it. For a small space it lives large with and open concept kitchen to the living room. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. The living room has a sofa for lounging and an Eames chair and ottoman for relaxing with a good book. There are two small bedrooms, however, one bedroom has the bathroom attached to it and the secondary bedroom does not have a closet. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a small antique armoire. The secondary bedroom has a twin daybed with storage underneath that can be converted to a queen bed.There is a small vanity/desk in front of the window. The house has a small stackable washer/dryer.The bathroom has been redone with the exception of a large cast iron soaking tub. This small space would be great for an individual or couple who want to utilize the small space efficiently while having the ability to entertain overnight guests for short stays. The outside of the house: The yard is totally fenced in with a huge fir tree in the backyard. There is a patio with two Adirondack chairs. There is a 50 amp electrical outlet for charging an electric car.There is a covered carport. The driveway, sideway around the house and the side patio where put in last year. The property has a rustic feel of being a mini Timberline Lodge. Rent for this property includes all utilities: water, WiFi, garbage, electrical. It also includes yard care by the owner and twice monthly maid service. Issues with the house: A full disclosure -we had trouble with consistent internet service, As of 10/25/22 Xfinity has updated the service. If it is an issue, know that the owner will do everything to attempt to insure great WiFi service. The house has cadet heaters and a portable air conditioner for the summer months.The cadet heaters can be adjusted for your comfort and the TV stand also has an electrical fireplace that can be turned on to put out heat. The cost of rent is $2350/month with a 3 month minimum or $2150/month for a 12 month lease. I am looking for the right renter for this property. My ideal renter would be a young professional or an active retiree. I am not accepting pets.I Unfortunately have accepted pets prior without having a good experience.
