The property and ADU are adjacent to the Lookout Mountain Nature Preserve, and Chimney Gulch Trail and Apex Open Space are a short walk (or bike ride) away. The unit is ~550 sqft and includes a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, and dining room. A back door leads to a small and secluded back patio which could use some upkeep, but that is fantastic for a reading spot or lunch on a nice spring day. Furnishings include a high dining table, a queen bed & frame (if desired), a dresser, a bedside cabinet, a mirror, and a living room 2-person sofa. The unit is detached but shares a driveway with the landlords' house. Laundry is available on-site. This is mountain living, so there are some quirks that we'll need to discuss like the need for an AWD car with snow tires in the winter, the tenants responsibility for snow removal in some circumstances, trash management with the wildlife, etc. Pets are allowed with a 50% of rent pet deposit plus $50/month/pet rent, but be aware that the fence does not retain animals, and there is wildlife around.
