We love this home, and are selling because it's time for us to downsize. We love this home because of it's large, spacious living room, huge modern kitchen, and beautiful dining room for getting together with friends and family. We love the beautiful historic woodwork throughout the home and the four 1911 leaded glass windows. When the light is right, they throw prisms of color everywhere. We love the picture rails throughout, which allow us to easily hang and move art from room to room as our whims and the seasons change. We love the underfloor heat on the first floor and the cozy sealed Valor heater on winter days. We love the quiet, cozy hot water radiator heat throughout the house. We love our front and back porches, and our patio - great places for hanging out with friends and neighbors. We love our neighbors, and often spend time together on each others porches or in our back yards, We love being in the middle of Old West Lawrence, far from the sounds of traffic on 6th and 9th Street. We love the extra storage on the 3d floor - an attic acccessible via stairs. We love the warm durable skim coated walls throughout the house.
