Log cabin type home with unobstructed views of the Appalachian Trail (Gregory's Bald). Very quiet location on top of Chilhowee Mountain. It may seem far away, but you can be in town (Maryville) for shopping etc in about 20 minutes. The home has a generator on it that automatically kicks on if power goes down for 15 seconds or more. The house is on a well and heat pump. The water has a special UV filtration system and filters get changed a minimum of yearly or more often if needed to keep the water table in balance. This is a home for someone who LOVES being right in the mountains. Would also consider selling for the right offer and would even consider financing some of it pending down payment etc.
Lease is 1 year and tenant is responsible to put the electric (Ft Loudon) in their name. Tenant is also responsible for yard maintenance (it is not a huge yard and I left a mower up there in a storage space). Absolutely NO SMOKING in the home or deck. If smoker, must be away/off the physical deck/home. Washer and dryer are available for use, but any repairs needed for them (they are like new) is the tenants responsibility. Unfortunately, the reason for this was simply ABUSE in the past. The tenant is responsible for THEIR belongings as far as the home...renters insurance is not required, but encouraged as we do NOT reimburse for personal goods. There is high speed fiber optic internet (streaming quality) available through Spectrum and another smaller company.
