Neighborhood Description The White Oaks tract is one of the more desirable neighborhoods in San Carlos. Laid out in 1927, the bulk of the neighborhood was built in the 1940s~1950s, with substantial remodeling of many homes in the area as San Carlos has upgraded along with the rest of the Bay Area. The neighborhood elementary school is within walking distance, as are the lower middle (Arroyo) and upper middle (Central) schools. The city's main Brittan Park is the same walk as the middle schools, and this home is also close to San Carlos' shopping district on Laurel Street.
