Heat for main house is by a new Jotul wood stove supplemented with a Rinnai propane hot air heater. 12X10 second bedroom is also on first floor. A large open loft over the primary living area provides a very large 3rd bedroom with great views. Log Addition (2014) to main house w/ cathedral ceiling is 30X14 carpeted, heated with Jotul wood stove (as is main cabin), backed up with Rennai propane heater, french doors leading to 6X10 deck, hot tub area and courtyard. 24X12 Deck was converted into a screened porch with a polycarbonate roof allowing full sunlight into the house, an additional 6 months of outdoor living... Shady front porch hosts a lovely Adirondak swing to watch the sunrise to the east. The two story barn has a metal and carpentry workshops on the first floor, an insulated "man cave" on the second floor for hobbies, exercise equipment and the like with double doors allowing for light, ventilation and loading access.
