This beautiful, cozy little house is not boring or typical. It has several cool features, and you are likely to fall in love with it at first sight. It is not perfect, though. It is an old house, and has been empty for a couple years (I took a job in Minnesota, and planned to return, but plans change). It has a new roof, and is structurally sound, but will be best suited for someone who is handy. There is a one-car detached garage that needs shingles badly (they are included, but not installed). The washer/ dryer hookups are in the unfinished basement. and while there are several cracks in the foundation, it seems to stay dry, or at least the sump pump has always been sufficient to keep it dry. There is a fireplace, but it is currently decorative only, as a previous owner ran the furnace exhaust into the chimney. It has AC, and is cheap to heat and cool. Attic is accessible with actual stairs, and offers a little storage. There is a large deck at the rear of the house, conveniently right outside the kitchen door that will benefit from railings, privacy lattice or something else to be finished. Over all, this is a wonderful house, but it is not for everyone. Is the price negotiable? No. Will I do contract for deed?
