Located at the juncture of a creek and a back bay of the Mattawaumkeag River within the town limits of Haynesville, Maine. A kayak can be used to access the river until ice freezes the creek solid. This area is a hunter/ fisherman's paradise. Deer and moose are seen almost every night till the snow gets deep. Turkey feed in the yard during the day. Bears will empty the garbage if a steel drum is not used. This part of the River is known for all types of trout, salmon and small mouth bass. Tributary creeks offer some of the best rare brook trout fishing in the United States. The Community is small and friendly. 30 miles to Houlton or just 14 miles to Danforth with 1 good grocery store, gas pumps and restaurant. There are 2 mobile homes located on the property. They both have extensive damage. The Campwas set up in the 1980's to sleep 6-8 people in bunks. 3 Heating sources make winters easy. All were hooked up and fully functional when last at the property.
