I've lived year-round in the Elfin Cove community for 35 years. When you buy this property from me, I will still be living in Elfin Cove (year-round) as your neighbor. This is a real opportunity for someone to start a new gig in a wild Alaskan setting without starting from scratch. This property is surrounded by modern infrastructure maintained by both the community and private businesses. This is a stable economic environment (tax-free) with many of the decades old businesses now being run by the second generation of their families. Elfin Cove is a limited access community without walls or gate keys. Its physical isolation limits the intrusion of most social ills in the real world. It has been nearly a decade since I had a cold, flu or covid- then it was during a trip to the lower 48. The operators of the fishing lodges, their crews, the summer homeowners and commercial fishers swell the population to a couple of hundred people for the summer tourist season. This winter there are 10 humans living in the 20 square miles around Elfin Cove- three living in the town proper and five as caretakers of businesses outside Elfin Cove.
