    What's special

    Our family has lived and loved this home for 12 years but unfortunately we have outgrown the space many years ago we just haven’t been able to part with it. It was a perfect starter home for our family and as sad as we are to move we know it will make another family very happy. Since buying it in 2013 we have made a few updates: kitchen remodel including cabinets/counters, added a dishwasher/new appliances, updated flooring upstairs to vinyl plank, weatherized the unfinished side of the basement which we currently use as a home gym and other storage, we added a propane wall heater to that side of the basement and replaced the hot water heater, it is an efficient heat pump/dehumidifier/water heater all in one. The finished side of the basement is currently used as a bedroom. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. We did have plans to put another bathroom downstairs in the laundry room, but we have just not got around to it. Now that we’re moving it’s not a priority, but it is possible. There is French drain all around the house so there is no flooding issues in the basement. The spouting is run underground to drain out through the back yard to the runoff ditch. It is a wonderful neighborhood, very quiet and lovely neighbors and the view is amazing you can sit on the back porch and watch the fore works they put off at the Dike. The sewer is a flat rate fee each month paid to the township, the water is through the City of Lock Haven our bill runs about $90 each quarter with 5 people living in the home and three of them girls! Our electric bill would not representative of what you might pay because we do have an electric car that we charge nightly. Even with the electric car it is still manageable, before the car we opted for budget billing with PPL to pay a flat rate all year rather than one that fluctuates and it was around $200/mo.
