This is a home that was almost totally redone starting in 2007 with the 3 floor elevator...In addition the home has over 1000 sq ft of of covered/enclosed space ...As one of the top Builders/designers from STL, I made it my personal goal to make a great place for my family to grow and visit...Besides a perfect design for what a family needs and wants, whether it be for relaxing or every day life, here is a list of things we did..... I Started with a 3 story addition in 2007 and becoming a never ending project to current date. That is part of the curse of a hands on builder, building his own home! The addition included toy garage, media room, 3 floor elevator, front entry, formal ½ bath, back entry with wet bar, bedroom with full bath etc. As part of the redesign process and after just going through Hurricane Isabel, I took what knowledge I collected while being in the house with up to 126MPH raged outside and redesigned the home appropriately IMPROVEMENTS: All Hardie Plank siding was was removed from the existing structure, Tyvek redone properly and new Hardie Plank installed on the entire home. New Anderson windows and exterior doors were installed. All exterior trim was replaced new with a gelcoat type product or low maintenance material A new roof was installed with the heaviest shingle we could find at the time. I believe it is rated to 140mph. Custom garage doors(arched w/overlays) and new openers.....Was a 2 car now it is a 2 car + Added culture stone to exterior even on rear wall Added exterior storage units as part of house Redesigned ALL interior and exterior staircase units for a gentler rise and space at bottom and top replaced base, casing, crown and interior doors(most are solid core) All Bedroom have exterior patio doors that open on to a roof covered deck or covered porch. 4th floor/attic has a door to a observation deck Attic has structural floor for storage and 2 access points”secret staircase” and “electric drop down !” Upgraded house electrical service including interconnected smoke detectors Hard wired cable to each room in the house New hardwood/tile/carpet floors Custom “Tuscan” walls in kitchen area Kitchen cabinets Sub Zero fridge Wolf Gas range Asko DW Granite Kitchen Tops custom bar and granite tops Formal half and BR2 Bath were done as part of the addition Window seat with drawers 3 Floor custom hydraulic elevator New Tankless water heater Huge custom paver driveway And as late as 2018 New pump on Therma spa unit replaced roof on deck above our beach/game room A MUST SEE ROOM Both entire HVAC systems were replaced( I didn't want to do this until the end) What an improvement this has made.... Just completed; New Master bath shower, valves, vanities, top, mirrors, shower door,toilet etc..... New Mb vanities tops, faucets & mirrors New MB tiled shower, valves and shower door Epoxyed Garage floors Whole house generator(not installed yet) upgraded central vacuum Caulk upgrade to exterior(something I recommend to ALL homeowners, every 2 years Hard to describe..”MUST SEE!”
