The Northfield golf course is right up the road, a Connecticut River boat launch less than a mile up the main road, and downtown Northfield about a fifteen minute walk. This second floor apartment boasts lots of windows with southern light and high ceilings. There is a walk-in closet in the bedroom with a second in the kitchen. The apartment has two entrances--one to the front of the house which is shared with one other tenant and the second to the parking lot at the back of the house. This apartment is a lovely size for a single person or a couple just starting out. The kitchen can hold a small table with seating for four. The living room, a loveseat and a couple of chairs, and/or small desk, with a TV console. The bedroom can fit up to a queen size bed with a dresser and side table or two, depending on how the room is arranged. Tenant pays for propane (heat) and electric (hot water and cooking). Trash removal provided by onsite dumpster. Snow removal also provided. No smoking in the apartment or on the porches of the house. Cats and dogs are welcome.
