The first floor bathroom has been updated with a soaking tub and shower. In the living area you will find a tiny nook perfect for a desk or eating area, situated adjacent a window with calming views of the mountains and rocky yard. Upstairs find a convenient half bathroom and two small bedrooms, both with window a/c, cozy (electric heater) fireplaces and wool berber carpeting. The house gets plenty of light but there are window coverings throughout in case you like it darker. All of the windows look out to Mother Nature and you will feel like you're in a tree house with the abundance of wildlife and birds. Tucked away in the back, the patio/deck is very private and quiet. There's room for a hammock, lounge furniture, umbrella, fire-pit, gas BBQ grill and dining table. The semi-private front porch seating area is set at the end of a long driveway (parking for max. 2 small cars, tandem) with great mountain views and is a great place to sit and watch the sun fade and the squirrels play. At the other end of the driveway is a creek, which you can hear year round from just about any room in the house. If you are seeking to connect with nature yet be close to everything, this is the perfect place for you. The home is small but well suited for 1-3 quiet people who are comfortable in close quarters. Pets are negotiable, for a fee. Noted as one of the safest towns in California, Sierra Madre is rich in history and incredibly charming with its many Craftsman and Victorian homes. This sweet house is located in Sierra Madre Canyon away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
