Discover a truly unique property nestled on the rolling hills of our expansive 60-acre estate in Indianapolis. As you roam the trail behind the grey metal pole barn, you'll find yourself captivated by the serene pond. From the comfort of the house, you can enjoy a picturesque view of our horses, mini cows and donkeys grazing in the pasture. Experience the magic of nature as the sun sets and the property comes alive with the soothing sounds of wildlife. It's not uncommon to spot deer in the field, turtles basking in the sun on the lake, our resident blue heron named "Harold," wild turkeys, or adorable families of ducklings during the spring season. The retro ranch home boasts a tall privacy fence surrounding its backyard area, providing a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Inside, you'll find a fireplace, a sunroom, a covered back porch with a spacious hot tub, a fun throwback kitchen, and beautiful hardwood floors. Despite its close proximity to the interstate and downtown, this property offers a true country retreat, surrounded by the beauty of a nature preserve. Immerse yourself in the symphony of chirping crickets, the enchanting dance of fireflies, the playful antics of horses, and the joy of roasting marshmallows over a fire at this stunning ranch home. Located at the front of the property along a main road, the house is easily accessible and simple to find. Please note that you may hear passing cars when you're near the front of the property. The home is equipped with well water, but we have a softener to ensure its quality. For your safety and the safety of our animals, we kindly request that you refrain from entering any gated pastures, barns, or outbuildings. Guests have access to the entire house. Please do not enter any barns, gated pastures or outbuildings. We do have a groundskeeper who helps us keep our 60 acres under control with mowing, weed eating and landscaping. We do our best to do most of this work between 11 am and 3 pm. If you see someone pulling weeds, cleaning air filters, or mulching, just know we are doing our best to make your stay as beautiful as possible :) Our 4th bedroom is the sun room. It has a curtain to block off from rest of sun room. There are multiple sleeping options in this room. The light switch to the vanity light in the main bathroom is on the side of the light fixture. We also want to let you know that our staff will go the extra mile for your stay or your special day! At Ruby Ranch, we invite you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of our beautiful barn tours, where donations starting at just $50 allow you to spend cherished moments with our beloved animals. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a memorable family outing, our barn tours promise a heartwarming experience amidst nature's embrace. In addition to our barn tours, we are thrilled to offer exquisite farm-fresh bouquets, starting at $25 for single bouquets crafted from the season's vibrant blooms. Each bouquet features 12-18 stems of locally grown flowers, ensuring a burst of color and fragrance during your stay. Additional bouquets are available at $20 each, perfect for adding a touch of natural beauty to any occasion. For those craving adventure on the water, our kayak and canoe experiences along the scenic White River await. Solo tours start at $65, with each additional participant priced at $50, making it an ideal group activity for exploring the tranquil waters and lush surroundings at the back of our expansive property. Renter is not responsible for paying any utilities and is offered free Wifi. The housing is fully furnished. Pets are allowed with a $500 deposit. No smoking allowed inside. A $500 fee will be charged if so. Minimum lease requirement is 30 days with the first months rent due plus a deposit of the price of the first months rent. Parties unauthorized or pre approved will have an additional $500 fee plus $20 per person. And may be asked to leave property.
