Greenbrook is a perfect place for families. It is the 5th Lakewood Ranch village and contains many lakes and preserves. In the center of the village is the Adventure Park which can be accessed by pedestrian trails from every neighborhood within Greenbrook. Unique features of the park include a dog park, and inline skate/hockey rink, playground, pavilion, and sports fields. The pedestrian trails in the park connect to Summerfield's Herons Nest Nature Park and Riverwalk's Braden River Nature Trail to create a pathway system that rivals Florida's state parks. McNeal Elementary School and Nolan Middle School are both in the heart of the village, and many children can walk or ride their bikes to school. A second park, Greenbrook Park, is just behind the school campus. It also has a playground, pavilion, and sports fields.
