Applications are currently being accepted for new low and moderate income two bedroom age-restricted homes in East Greenwich Township. In order to be eligible for an age-restricted affordable housing unit, applicants must meet certain income limits as required by the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing AND at least one member of the household must be at least 55 years of age (no residents under the age of 18 are allowed). The units are located in the Gatherings at East Greenwich active adult community on Currant Drive. Prices for the two bedroom, one bath units, will range from $71,888 to $108,854. The maximum household incomes permitted are $43,848 for a one person household, $50,112 for a two person household and $56,376 for a three person household,. Interested households will be required to submit a pre-application. Units will be deed restricted to ensure continued affordability.
