Historic Gould Hill Farm is located on the East side of Gould Hill Road in the quaint town of Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Honored as a farm of distinction by the Department of Agriculture, the property has been farmed continuously from its establishment in 1763 by Moses and Christopher Gould. Comprised of 58 acres of which almost half is productive farmland that includes; apple, peach and plum orchards, a retail fruit tree nursery as well as pumpkin, squash and blueberry crops. The remaining forested acreage is a certified tree farm under active forest management. In 1899, Robert T. Gould, great grandson of Moses Gould, dismantled the original family homestead and built the current farmhouse with lumber cut on the property. The house includes four bedrooms and two and one half baths totaling 3,888 square feet. The attached circa 1810 post and beam barn now houses part of the apple retail sales. A controlled atmosphere storage building (7,536 square feet) allows for expanded retail operations. Spectacular views to the north and west are dominated by Kearsarge Mountain and extend to the White Mountains. Gould Hill Farm has changed hands only once since 1763 and represents the rare opportunity to continue to steward this important historic and agricultural landmark.
