(cable/wifi not included) - On ground floor with private balcony that opens up onto larger shared balcony that no one else really uses - Coin-op laundry in building - Walking distance to Grand Lake, the Grand Lake Theatre, great restaurants and bars, Piedmont Ave, Rose Garden - Available now - Renting for 6 months then month to month - Sorry, no pets - Smoking not allowed anywhere on the property including the patio - Max 2 renters, 1 preferred - Security deposit and credit check required (Note: I will consider unfurnished and/or shorter or longer term; strongly prefer furnished.) There is lovely jasmine growing up the fence, and space for your own private eating area, or use of the common area table. In all my years here, I haven't seen any other residents hang out on the patio, so it's a great large space that feels private, great for outdoor meals, relaxing or morning coffee. Coin-op laundry is available on each floor (building has 4 floors) so you rarely have to wait. I'm renting it out furnished for 6 months then month to month, depending on whether you want to stay longer. The photos show all the furniture included; some of the personal decor is removed. The building is quiet and not a great place for parties. Looking for someone responsible, courteous, and employed who will appreciate and care for this lovely home. The neighborhood: I've lived here for over 5 years and love it! The building is quiet with 1-2 tenants in each unit. Really safe and walkable location with the Morcom Rose Garden at the top of the block, walking distance to cafes and restaurants like Boot & Shoe, Penrose, The Star, and bars like the piano karaoke bar Alley Cat and a French wine bar. Around the corner on Lakeshore, there's Arizmendi, Trader Joe's, The New Easy, Shakewell. Lots of other food options and local shops. On Saturday, the farmer's market is a few minutes away by Grand and Lakeshore avenues, just north of the lake. If you're a Fitness SF member, there's one around the corner on Grand. I like running through various parks and walkways up into the Piedmont hills, or around the lake. Great cycling and hiking 10 minutes away in the Oakland hills. If you commute to SF: It's 1.5 miles to MacArthur Bart or 19th St Bart in downtown Oakland -- about 30 minutes walking or 10 minutes biking. Casual carpool pickup spot is a few blocks away.
