Of course you can use air conditioning but the house is high enough, off the street, to keep you cool with cross ventilation from the newly installed windows. It is a cozy, upgraded colonial home with a working fireplace and a dry, tiled, finished, basement. The living room and dining room have hard wood, oak floors, and are on the first floor. The bedrooms are upstairs and they are hard wood, pine, but there is carpeting upstairs for a warm cushioned feeling. The bathrooms, have been completely renovated, and the new kitchen has granite countertops and all new stainless steel appliances. There are flower beds around the side of the house and if you like flowers you will enjoy planting them here. Besides the garage, there are three fully paved parking spots for your cars. Neighborhood Description The house is in Westfield, a private suburban neighborhood with churches, synagogues and shops like William Sonoma, the Gap, Victoria's Secret, and a movie theater. The home is off the street and only at a nine minute walk to the train. We drive everywhere, but for people used to walking in the city you should know that the house is close enough to town to walk to Starbucks, the movies, the supermarket, to a fresh vegetable market, and to other amenities. There is a town pool and several gyms, including the local YMCA.
