    1+BR in quaint downtown Newport NH, right next door to the police station & a few restaurants are less than a 60 second walk from your front door. Closer still, you would be right above a homey, independently owned diner. If you don't feel like making breakfast one day just slip downstairs for something warm & home cooked. Tenants have special deal. To boot, you are only about an hour from Concord or Manchester, 45 min to Keene & hour to Lebanon. Photos of the 5 rooms are study, living room, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom. I suppose the study could also be used as a bedroom if you don't mind the awesome 4foot by 6foot skylight waking you up every morning! (Also, one in living room & kitchen) Bath has a small 2'X2' skylight. There's a China cabinet in the living room as well as one in the kitchen (as well as plenty of kitchen cabinets, to boot.) Study, kitchen & bedroom all have closets. Wood floors in bedroom & study, carpeted floors in living room and vinyl flooring in kitchen & bath. Unit heating is from propane wall furnace in living room. Heat, utilities & amenities will be kept in the owner's name, but tenant must reimburse periodically. We have a step-down lease for long-term residents such that, in the long run, rent will be $1400 while heat, utilities & amenities should not average much more than $100 Short, or predetermined term rentals without step down can be considered (at a higher rate.) Additionally, one off street parking spot is available to you in our lot out back that is plowed after each significant snowfall. (Apartment can be entered on the front from Main St or out back from the parking lot.) Applicants are required to complete a rental application and authorize a credit and background check, however, the charge is credited toward rent if you choose to live here & refunded if we decide not to accept you Owner pays for water. Heat, utilities & amenities are in Owner's name but tenant must reimburse periodically. We have a step-down lease but In the long run rent will be $1400. Heat, utilities & amenities shouldn't average more than $100 a month
