For the past 34 years, this house has been more than just a home — it’s been the heart of our family. From the moment we first stepped inside, we were drawn to its timeless warmth, welcoming light, and quiet beauty. It has been a place of comfort, celebration, and countless memories. In the early 1990s, our father poured his heart and soul into renovating the home, honoring its rich history while carefully updating it for modern living. Every board he repaired, every window he restored, reflected his craftsmanship and deep respect for the home's character. His work brought new life to every corner of the house. One of our favorite places has always been the marble patio out back, where we spent countless afternoons and evenings surrounded by the gardens our father lovingly tended. Over the decades, he collected and planted a stunning variety of perennials, creating a living tapestry that changed beautifully with the seasons. Sitting among the blooms, with the soft mountain air around us, felt like being in a private sanctuary. Inside, the original wide plank floors and stained glass windows remind us of the home's enduring spirit — a spirit our father preserved and enriched. Every holiday, family gathering, and quiet Sunday afternoon, this home wrapped us in peace and belonging. The neighborhood, too, has always felt like an extension of the house itself: friendly, welcoming, and full of life, yet peaceful and private. Being so close to the town center while feeling tucked away in nature was something we never took for granted.
