This is a well updated 2 bedroom spacious 1350 sq. Ft. unit on the 1st floor in Chicago. Lot of good and tasteful upgrades made in all areas of the apartment. There is fine old wood work and stained glass still preserved from when the building was first built in 1930s. We have still kept the old windows and the floors are original too. We could have rehabbed the entire place and gotten rid of these old trims and windows but that's what kept the appeal. It's not easy to find such pretty places these days. Coin operated laundry in the building. Parking: A covered or an open spot could be provided at an extra cost. There's also free parking on some of the streets. The street where the apartment is requires a permit from the city of Chicago The tenant pays for heat, electricity, cable and internet. Water is included in the rent. Tenants can bring their ACs in summer. The apartment is on the first floor. Ceiling fans with light in every room. There's absolutely no smoking of any kinds. Cigarettes, tobacco, weed, vape, hookah in the apartment or on the building premises or common areas. That being said this property is in Chicago and is close to all good things. Evanston in the north is less than a 15 mins drive. Beaches on the East are close too. There's a divvy at a 5 minute walk that you could use and go around everywhere. Of course there's Uber and Lyft too. Lincoln square, Ravenswood, Andersonville, Roscoe Village, Lakeview are pretty easy access. Clark and Ashland are quite close and you could just drive south on either of these streets and experience the fun Chicago local restaurants, coffee shops and businesses. Broadway street isn't that far too. Lot of good amenities and access to great places in Chicago and the burbs. On the north side you have Evanston, northwestern university, Rogers Park, Wilmette really close too. This place is also close to the McCormick trail that runs north from Devon and McCormick intersection into Evanston. A great place to take walks or ride the bicycle. CTA buses, brown line and red line are accessible too. There's much more and if you are fond of Indian food then you are 2/3 mins walk from Devon/little India. A good variety of great Indian restaurants and stores. Application Fee - $80 Application fee is $80. Security deposit due at lease signing. Renter is responsible for Electricity, gas and internet.
