The City of Oakland seeks proposals to bring new life to the historic Montclair fairy tale firehouse. A Notice of Development Opportunity (NODO) has been released for the two adjacent parcels at 6226 Moraga Ave., Oakland, CA 94611. The City is requesting proposals to develop either one or both parcels. Proposals can be in the form of a purchase, lease, or any other type of agreement. The northern parcel (Parcel A) is about 23,884 sf. It is generally unimproved except for a storage shed and a small paved area to park a handful of cars. The City is asking $750,000 for this parcel. The southern parcel (Parcel B) is about 15,652 sf. It includes the historic Montclair Firehouse aka the old Fire Station #24 (3200 sf with garage). This City is asking $500,000 for the firehouse.
