We have tried to keep some of the essence of the old structure by rehabbing the original wood floors, exposing the brick on the chimneys, and reclaiming most of the original doors. Each unit has its own gas furnace and central air conditioning. The 4 units have a shared outdoor courtyard with seating, which renters are welcome to use for drug free gatherings. The neighborhood of Deutchtown has so much to offer in the way of restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful Allegheny Commons park. An easy walk gets you to both stadiums, the casino, several museums and the National Aviary. Downtown Pittsburgh and the Strip District are a nice walk or bike ride away. Also, on your bike you have easy access to the trail system and Point State Park. Another great feature is the easy access to the parkway and interstates by car. Plenty of convenient on street parking available with residential permit purchase. This 2nd floor apartment is 1300 sq. feet and rents for $1350 per month plus gas, electric and internet/cable. We ask for a 12 month lease with first and last months rent plus a $675 security deposit up front. You will get your deposit back upon a satisfactory inspection when the lease has been fulfilled. Any extended stay guests need to be background checked and have their name on the lease. Water and sewage included in rent. All other utilities must be in renters name.
