The ranch is cross fenced into nine pastures for rotational grazing. The fences are four and five wire barbed wire on wood and steel posts and are in good condition. The elevation of 7,150 to 7,450 feet above sea level provides cooler temperatures. According to the High Plains Regional Climate Center at the University of Nebraska, the average annual precipitation for the Sublette County is approximately 23.4 inches including 51.3 inches of snow fall. The average high temperature in January is 28 degrees, while the low is 1 degree. The average high temperature in July is 79 degrees, while the low is 43 degrees. There are approximately 140+/-acres under two Zimmatic center pivots and 525+/- acres of flood irrigated grass meadows.
