Across the street from the VA, 12 minutes to downtown (and Trader Joe's!), 15 minutes to South Asheville via a beautiful drive on the parkway. Home is within city limits an easy half mile walk to the bus line, groceries and several restaurants. Highland Brewing and the Nature Center are both less than 10 minutes away. The neighborhood is very walkable and backs up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Home is available furnished or unfurnished. If interested in renting furnished: We have loads of books, games, puzzles and toys. We're happy to leave them for you to enjoy. Or we can stow them away so you can fill the space as you wish! Don't be put off by personal items in photos. They'll be removed prior to renting. The house itself is 3 bedroom, 1.5 baths, 1200sq feet. There is also a small bonus room off the kitchen. Thoughtful updates have been made throughout the home. Master has a queen size bed, end tables, dresser and shelf. There is a small wall mounted tv. Decent sized closet. The half bath is off of this bedroom offering privacy. The next bedroom is currently being used for a 3 year old. There is a desk that could easily be moved into this room to make it an office. The third bedroom has twin sized bunk beds, a dresser, bookshelf and lots of space in the closet for storing things. There is also a hall closet for odds and ends. Both bathrooms have been updated and are stylish and functional. The kitchen has been recently updated with butcher block counters, a large gas stove and all stainless steel appliances. A pantry and large double door fridge give you plenty of room for all your snacks and cooking staples. Eat in kitchen table is comfortable for 3-5 people, but can hold more. Off the kitchen is a small sunny bonus room currently used as a play room, but would make a lovely yoga space! Laundry and the deck are bother off this room. Laundry room is large and equipped with newer washer and dryer. The deck overlooks our wooded 1/2 acre lot. Backyard has lots of space and activities for kids. Larger kid things can be moved to the edge of the yard, but will stay with the property. Smaller things can be removed. The yard is partially fenced, we'd consider one well behaved pup.
