Rich in history, this home was once owned by Captain Prince Stetson, a great, great grandson of Cornet Robert Stetson. Prince was born in August of 1741 and married Eunice Sylvester, and later, widow Jane Carver, after Eunice?s death. Prince was a Sergeant in Amos Turner?s Minute Men, who marched on the Alarm on April 19, 1775. He later made Lieutenant and Captain. Prince Stetson moved his family to Maine after the Revolution. The home was later occupied by Benjamin Mann, who sold it to Lewis Litchfield, who was a soldier in the War of 1812. Several families have called this property home and have updated it along the way. Welcoming in all seasons, come and see for yourself. (Internet 5699421)
