We are located within walking distance of Downtown (6 blocks), the Riverfront (3 blocks). and the Castle Street Antique District ( 2 blocks, with its shops, wine shops, restaurants). Public transit 1/2 block away. Rx Restaurant, Castle Street Kitchen, Jesters Restaurant, Luna Coffeeshop, Sanctuary Yoga, Gravity Records are all 2-4 blocks. Walking downtown you will go directly through our "Mansion District", walking along deeply shaded cobbled streets . Wilmington prides itself on "walkability" and lovely, inviting southern charm. Explore ancient cobblestone alleys as you stroll downtown for dinner and to watch the sunset over the Cape Fear River, 3 blocks away. We are surrounded by ocean beaches, from 15 minutes to 45 minutes away- Wrightsville, Carolina, Kure, Fort Fisher, the Brunswick Beaches (Ocean Isle, Sunset, and Holden) and our favorite, windswept uncrowded Topsail Beach! Each one has a different "personality"! Carriage house is toward the rear of the property, and detatched from the main house. It has a private porch with porch swing and ceiling fan, and opens to a small garden. Owner lives in the house in front. Cottage comes with 1 off-street parking place, right beside the cottage. For additional parking, 3rd Street, and all adjacent streets, are free parking 24/7. We allow 1 pre-approved pet, $250 non refundable pet deposit. Pet must vetted, and be current on vaccines, flea/tick. No pets allowed on furnishings. Owner pays all utilities- internet, electric, gas, water/sewer, garbage. Lease is renewable up until April 2023..
