St. Michaels is a lovely small town, where you can walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Back Creek Park on San Domingo Creek is just down the street and you can easily canoe or kayak from the park. The Rails to Trails is located there, and is a beautiful walking trail that connects the north and south sides of town. The schools are excellent, and your child can walk to school as the elementary, middle and high schools are all in close proximity to the town.
