Our home is a brick ranch style house with a finished room over the garage. We typically enter through the side door, which has the laundry room and 4 lockers for shoes, hooks for coats, room for book bags, and each locker has a drawer for storage. We have an open floor plan. While cooking it is easy to converse with family and watch the tv with them. The den has large bookcases built in on either side of the tv/fireplace and vaulted ceilings. We have 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 3 hall closets for storage, a large walk-in closet in the master bedroom. We have a cement back porch with access by sliding door from the den and master bedroom. It stays shaded most of the time!
