Room details
Our home is a traditional 1970's split level home in a quiet residential neighborhood in East Ferndale / North Bellingham. There are 3 rooms upstairs with the master being a STR for traveling professionals. The room available for rent is approximately 10x10 with a North facing window and small, 1/2 closet. It shares a bathroom with one other person and would be up one flight of stairs. Landlords are an older, quiet, empty nest couple and live with 2 small dogs in the lower level of the house. Sorry, no other pets allowed. You will occasionally find the landlords or a cleaning person upstairs, with notice of course, in between travelers in order to clean and prepare for the next guest. The property has a large backyard and optional garden space. There is a free, shared laundry space downstairs for regular sized loads between 8:00am and 9:00pm. We strive to be scent free as this is an older house on shared central heating and air. We are looking for quiet, respectful, like minded tenants to share our space with. Background/credit/eviction reports are required for all tenants.
Utilities are due monthly and will be divided by the number of tenants (2-6) living in the household during each utilities billing period. This includes electric, internet, gas, trash & water; We estimate these to be $100-$300
The house has a central heating system and will be set 68-72 degrees year round depending on time of day. Due to having a shared air system we require that no strong scents such as perfumes, candles, air fresheners, cooking spices etc be used in the house.
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property
Must be LGBTQ+ friendly
Please read attached lease agreement thoroughly to ensure that you are a good fit for the space.
