    Magnificent colonial style home in park like setting nestled along Big Sugar Creek. House is approximately 5471 heated sq ft. (Including the pool room if heated year round). Indoor pool can be heated by heat pump or using the Taylor outdoor wood burning stove. Home can also be heated in the winter using the outdoor wood stove- saves quite a bit of money in the winter! We typically fill the propane tank 2-3 times per year. Our electric bill never got over $350 and that was only one or two months. It’s typically in the $250-$270 range but we aren’t conservative with lights and also run the AC early on in the warm months. Home also has a backup generator that runs the entire home and functions properly- it runs a test for 30 minutes every Saturday. We have redone several rooms throughout the house in the past couple years as we have had time. We recently had a little over 30 guests stay in the home over Memorial Day weekend so it’s very possible to host events/reunions/gatherings here. There is a large, open front yard that is just beautiful and could very well be used to host weddings/events with the house being large enough to prepare for such things. The backyard is an outdoor paradise with multiple springs, bridges, lighted pathway down to a rustic one room cabin with deck sitting atop a bluff overlooking the beautiful Big Sugar Creek. There is an old treehouse/fort ready to be spruced up for the kiddos, a horseshoe pit for the adults. Spacious back deck can hold a large group as well- also a smaller deck below that has electric ran for a hot tub! There is a 5 bay tractor barn/shed for tractor, equipment or extra vehicles. Wood fence wraps around front side of yard. There is a spot for RV hookups with electric, water and septic. A couple little outbuildings (including original root cellar) could make great little chicken coops. This property could be very well used as an Air BNB, retreat, etc- lots of potential!
