    Hello there! PLEASE READ ALL We have one private room becoming available on May 1st or June 1st with deposit. While we usually don't allow pets, this is negotiable. We've lived here long-term and are looking for a long-term tenant as well. Our lease is renewed one year at a time. Unfortunately, this cannot be a shared room. There is no smoking or vaping in the house. Rent is $1,250 per month and includes EVERYTHING: rent, electricity, electric heat, water, hot water, the highest-speed FibreOp internet from Bell (excellent Wi-Fi and Ethernet in the bedroom), and rental insurance. You'll have access to: Your own three-shelf cupboard space Two closets (one in your room and a second in the hallway) Our unit is very large and open it's a three-bedroom apartment. However, we mostly stay in our rooms 24/7, so the kitchen and living room will be mostly empty and yours to use unless we're cooking for a few minutes. We're located in the heart of downtown Halifax on Spring Garden Road, in a condo called Embassy Towers. It's within walking distance of local universities and grocery stores like Sobeys, Superstore, Noggin's, and more. There are also many restaurants and entertainment options nearby. We're right on major bus routes, with stops directly outside the building. About the Condo: 24/7 front lobby security with incredibly friendly staff Large open lobby where condo owners and renters often gather during holidays to share snacks and get to know each other Outdoor pool and patio (open all summer) with lounge chairs, a shower room, toilet, and changing area Very quiet unit traffic noise is minimal due to our location in the building Laundry on every floor (card-operated, powerful, clean, and handles heavy loads about $1.75 per wash and dry) excellent up to date models. Mostly seniors retiring in the building so it's extremely quiet in here, no noisy neighbours. A Little About Us: There are three of us: myself, my wife Diana, and Matt. We also have a pet pigeon named Pijon Mustard, who stays in our room but occasionally makes a cryptid-like appearance in the living room, lol. Matt has his own room, while my wife and I share one. We're between 27 33 years old, don't drink, don't smoke, and are quiet, respectful, and chill. We don't party and tend to mind our own business. We're all neurodivergent and part of the LGBTQIA+ community I'm trans myself. We're also total gamers, nerds, and geeks! We love gaming, anime, traveling, cosplay, conventions, LARPing, and more!
