The new MAX line is a few blocks away and the condo is just 3 miles SE of downtown PDX. - It's in a small (only 8 units) and very quiet condo complex. - There's a small on-site storage unit available as well (which is included in monthly rent) Possible negatives worth mentioning sooner rather than later: - No central A/C, so can be hot on some days in summer (although you can use a "portable" A/C in the summer which is what I did when I lived there.) - It has a little less closet space than most 2 bedroom apartments - Small kitchen (Although it does have a nice dining room table area outside of the kitchen in the main room.) Also, it's all electric, so no gas stove. - If you're in a loud and/or late night party kind of stage of life, forget it. This is a small and relatively quiet condo complex. - Sorry, but no pets allowed. - Sorry, but no smoking allowed. (It's a smoke-free complex.) Availability: Feb 2020 Price: $1,590/month with 6 or 12 month lease -- First and last plus a $1,500 security/damage deposit. (Other lease options: I'm also potentially open to month-to-month, but rent would need to be a bit higher). Size: It's roughly 738 sq ft and is a lower-level unit. It also has its own 450 sq foot private backyard. Note: Criminal background check and credit check required. Owner pays, water, sewer, trash. Tenant pays electric, cable, etc.
