We are renting out our family home. We bought and completely remodeled it in 2007 (all electrical, all plumbing, new kitchen, new bathroom, roof, finishes, floors, ect..)
It's located just a half block from the Peninsula Park rose garden. We are just a couple blocks from a host of amazing restaurants, coffee shops and stores. 9 blocks from the Max yellow line and New Seasons. We have lived here with our three kids (our son was born here) and we have recently moved to some acreage outside Eugene.
Build in 1926, The house is three levels, 5 bedrooms (two on main floor, two upstairs and one in the basement), 2 full baths (upstairs with shower, downstairs has a clawfoot tub), Front porch with two porch swings, back has an outside deck. 2400 sq feet.
There is cedar raised beds in the front yard and mature herb garden.
We remodeled the classic old house "boxy" feel and created a big open living/kitchen/family room.
Kitchen has all newer appliances and open shelving. There is a gas fireplace. Forced air gas furnace, gas range for cooking, dishwasher.
The main floor has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a french double door that leads out to the back deck and is adjacent to the downstairs bathroom. Each bedroom features 5-6 foot closets (we remodeled the original 1900's single closets)
The top floor has matching bedrooms with dormer windows and bonus storage rooms. There is a bathroom with a stall shower and a widow that opens up onto a flat roof.
The basement is divided into four rooms. The largest room is the family room, followed by the largest bedroom in the house with full closet. The laundry room has a modern washer and dryer with room for storage. And, finally the furnace room we use as our main home storage.
There is a cottage in the back of the property which we have a renter (friend). He's an outdoor enthusiast and mental health worker who is gone most of the time in the outdoors.
It is really a great house and we want to pass it on people who will love it as much as we have.
We love our neighbors and hope to find folks who are neighborly as well.
Families are a plus!
It's going to be available on September. 1st, 2022
We will start with a 1 year lease agreement. Tenant will pay all utilities except garbage
Cats are great!
Please call me if you have any further questions about the place,
Jans
