The house is a log and stone lodge style structure that is set back from the road and faces a beautiful four acre pond. There are three bedrooms on the main floor, plus a small office. The enormous gleaming wood great room has a vaulted 24' beamed ceiling, as well as an amazing rock fireplace. The dining room easily seats twelve and opens onto a large sunroom with sweeping views of the back pastures. The sunroom provides access to the back deck for even better outdoor views. In addition, there is a 1,000 sq ft., one bedroom mother-in-law apt. with kitchenette and possibility for further expansion as there are already stairs in place to access the large attic above this area. There are a total of four full bathrooms on the wheelchair accessible main floor. There is also a large private loft over the dining room that can be used as an additional 4th bedroom; it has closets. Downstairs there is a 3,000 sq. ft. in the above-ground basement. Here you will find a commercial style kitchen, a half bath, an aprox. 36' x 24' recreation room, a workshop with garage door and another large finished room. There is an elevator shaft in place (no elevator) that goes from the basement all the way through to the loft (we have installed flooring at each level in order to use the shaft for closets). There are several acres of fenced pastures and several outbuildings for farm animals, etc., including a new 36' x 24' metal building, which could be used as a triple car garage, or a barn for animals (our current use).
