    This was a model home for Laurelwood subdivision in Hernando. Laurelwood is an out of the way and very quiet neighborhood nestled off of Old Highway 51. We are the only owners and have lived here since April 2005. I installed the fence when we bought the home. I have two gates on the west side (one is a double gate). One gate on the East side and one gate in the rear. We installed a new roof March 2016. I upgraded to the best shingles Owens Corning makes. It was installed by Brian Elder roofing. I also opted for the Ridge vents to keep the attic cooler. At the same time (March 2016) I pulled up the existing hardwood floor and put down new luxury vinyl plank (these planks are 6' x 9" each and look awesome. They have the look and texture of real barn wood. They are 100% water proof and scratch resistant too! The owner of Tim Hogan's Carpet told me he has it throughout his home and loves it. He can have anything he wants and this is what he chose, this exact brand from US Floors. I also replaced the carpeted stairs when I put down the new floors in March 2016. I tore up the carpeted stairs and put down hardwood stairs and stained to match the new floors with white risers. Wrought iron banisters all along the staircase and loft border upstairs. At that time we had our very tall living room and loft painted. Most rooms have been painted in the past 4 years. Exterior paint was done in 2014 so it is practically new. I installed a new water heater in 2015. A really good quality 50 gallon Rheem Performance Plus natural gas model. We have another water heater on the opposite side of the house in the west attic that is original but working great. Replaced the thermocouple in it a few years ago. The ventahood/microwave is new. I replaced it with a very nice Samsung model in 2015. The bonus room over the garage was finished in when the home was built. It is my mancave/office now. It is painted red/blue OLE MISS colors. It used to be my son's room and he was a huge fan. Two fireplaces are natural gas. We use them both in the winter time very much and they work great! We love them. We love this home and hate to move but want a pool for our ten year old daughter and would rather buy a home that already has one. Also the entire downstairs is either tile or the luxury plank. The upstairs is tile (bathroom) luxury plank loft area and bedrooms are still carpet (which is in excellent condition. The stairs lead to a loft on the second floor which is perfect for an office. Currently it is my wife's office.
