Designed and built by a German architect and an artist, this home is unique and offers a very Taos experience with a contemporary flair; adobe mud walls, lots of light, open floor plan with a communicative gourmet kitchen, great outdoor spaces and breathtaking views to the famous Taos Mountain. The house is fully furnished and is immaculately clean and equipped with all bells & whistles. It has a master bedroom, a European style bathroom with soaking tub and toilet in a separate room. There is an extra room that can be used in various ways as an office or studio. There is a separate entertainment nook with Roku TV, Netflix and library. And of course a laundry room. Enjoy our large glass house right outside the dining room with gorgeous views to the Taos Mountain range and great for yoga (it was booked by PrAna for their catalogue) and evening star watching. It is a fun place to hang out and there are two lounge chairs and a large dining table with BBQ grill outside. Enjoy the landscaped, walled- in garden and have a glass of wine sitting on the patio by the Japanese water fountain. The lush garden is shared with an artist studio across the common courtyard. This peaceful house is on a quiet dead- end road surrounded by lots of open space and within an ocean of sage and wonderful trails for biking, jogging and walking. You feel like you are immersed in nature yet you are just 10 minutes from town and centrally located to popular destinations like Taos Plaza, Taos Ski Valley, quaint Arroyo Seco, the famous Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and the fabulous Ojo Caliente Spa and Mineral Springs. An organic supermarket, a health spa and coffee shops are all available within a few minutes.
