Designed for Mr. & Mrs. D.R. Packard in 1939 by Dan A. Weggeland, who's scope was similar to other Depression and post-war architects. Glass curtain walls were used to create an airy sense of volume on the ground floor living areas that blend seamlessly with the outdoor in this prewar mid-century modern home. Situated just below the Capitol, you will be first struck by the massive use of limestone slabs, laid irregularly, and at a slant to form the double garage and unique front steps leading you into this mid-century modern.
