Our fully furnished 2,400 square foot home is available for rent when we are out of town, so the home comes fully equipped with everything you might need. Our rambling ranch is 4.5 miles to Cornell in the beautiful Ellis Hollow area with rolling hills that are perfect for walks, bike rides, sunsets, overlooking an expansive private backyard. Our great room is a living room with couches, large TV, piano, dining room and vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows overlooking the backyard; an open kitchen, and a sitting area that opens to the back deck. At the other end of the house is a spacious, sunny family room with a separate study that opens to a front porch. Between the two living areas are three bedrooms and two full baths. The house is bright with lots of natural light from its cathedral ceilings, large picture windows and numerous skylights with hardwood floors and cherry doors and cherry trim throughout. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom its sliding glass doors open to the back deck . The second bedroom has a queen bed and a bay window. The third bedroom has a sofa bed. The house is equipped with high-speed wifi, a flat screen TV with a Roku device so you can sign into your own Netflix, HBO, or other streaming account you subscribe to (we do not have cable TV), BlueRay/ DVD player, a full kitchen with coffee maker, toaster oven, dishwasher, microwave, a dining room table for 6 people, and lots of sofas and armchairs. Enjoy a spacious backyard with gardens, fire pit, gas propane BBQ on a large deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. There is ample parking in the driveway. Our home is a great area for biking, hiking and walking. Free tennis courts and playground at the Ellis Hollow Community Center, and hiking trails (Ellis Hollow Nature Preserve) are within 2 miles. We are 7 minutes from Hammond Hill State Forest, which is fabulous for hiking and cross country skiing. Two sets of snow shoes are available for trekking. For winter fun, downhill skiing is only 17 miles away at Greek Peak. Nestled in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region, we are close to many wineries, gorges, hiking trails, state parks, and more.
