We have recently gotten the opportunity to take over a lease for a spacious house in the El Cerrito hills. We would like to use this space to create an intentional queer and leftist community- we are interested in co-creating norms and culture with our eventual housemates, but intend to create a setting where spaces are truly shared and the entire household engages in activities together. While we are interested in the space having vibrant social energy, we are also aware of the constantly changing conditions with covid and intend to keep the conversation fluid as to household norms and expectations with guests.
