Poolside condo in 55+ community. This condo is steps away from one of two pools/spas. Pools are heated to 86 degrees year round and spas are kept at a balmy 104. The Clubhouse contains a full kitchen, six pool tables, a work out facility, restrooms and a community room. This vibrant, active community offers special activities throughout the winter months. Coffee is served Monday-Friday and on Saturday's, there is a general gathering where fruit, danish/rolls, and coffee are served by community volunteers. It's a great way to meet your neighbor and discover what's happening in the Village and the Community. There is a car washing station located on property. Special Events are offered throughout the winter and we're always looking for new ideas and new people to help. There is a Social Committee, Pool Committee, Welcome Committee, and Landscaping Committee (comprised of VAW volunteers). The Village has a volunteer board of five owners who are elected by members of the association. The Village at Apache Wells is staffed by a part-time Office Manager who assists with questions and concerns. All other positions in the community are staffed by volunteers. Our Mantra is "It takes a Village," and the 170 owners and renters that reside here are quick to be a part of making this place one of the best places to live. We have an active FaceBook group where anyone can post or ask questions. The Condo has been upgraded with all new kitchen appliances, countertops, back splash, and cabinets have been painted. Both bathrooms have received upgrades; that include new sinks, countertops, medicine cabinets above toilets, and paint. Each unit has an assigned (covered) parking space. Conveniently located off of McKellips (near Higley and Falcon Field), it is within walking distance to Fry's, Kohls, Cozy Corner, Desert Peaks and many other businesses. NOTE: Owners must be 55+ and pets are not allowed.
