    Hi! We are looking to rent our beloved 1912 house in the North Oakland Bushrod/Rockridge area. We have put a lot of care and love into it over the last 13 years, including major remodels of the interior and exterior, and we are looking to rent it FURNISHED to others who will love it while we're away for a few years! (Note: We are willing to adjust furnishings somewhat according to renter preference.) This house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 3 off-street parking spaces in the driveway. Its Craftsman/Edwardian character shines with its original/sympathetically updated molding, cove ceilings, stained glass, and copious double-pane, double-hung windows. By the room: The living room - is beautifully sun-drenched in the morning, and includes an upright piano, LG OLED Smart TV, and several bookshelves. The dining room - has an enormous window looking out to our side yard, along with an ornamental fireplace, original beautiful built-in cabinets, and an expanding dinner table that can seat up to 14. The kitchen - was remodeled in 2009 and again partly in 2019. It includes laundry equipment at one end and opens to the sunny backyard through 3 French doors on the other end. Appliances are highly-rated models, and most are either brand new or less than 2 years old. The downstairs bathroom - is connected to the kitchen/mudroom area, and features a shower/bath tub, closet, and dual sinks. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, all with multiple windows and a closet/wardrobe. The master bedroom also has an attached office with large windows, a sizable built-in bookcase, a closet, and a balcony overlooking the backyard. The upstairs bathroom - features a clawfoot tub (with appropriate retrofit for a shower), dual sinks, and a toilet with bidet features available. The outdoors - has numerous established flowers, fruits, herbs, and trees. The backyard has a lovely deck with a Weber gas grill and two sheds (one of which will be available as part of the rental), and features full WiFi coverage. The front porch is lovely and sunny, particularly in the winter time (when the lavender and roses continue to bloom!). The neighbors are the best in the universe- quiet, thoughtful, and kind- and I really love them. I don't really want you living here if you can't be good to them, too. We will cover fixed-expense utilities including trash and excellent Sonic symmetric gigabit fiber internet. Gas, electric, and water will be on you (though we can keep them in my name to avoid hassle). We love animals, but will require a pet deposit in addition to the normal security deposit if you plan to bring any, and please keep the place clean from pet messes. Absolutely no smoking. Lease is for at least 1 year and then will go month to month. 3 car parking in driveway (in addition to one of the owner's cars). Easy on street parking. We will cover fixed-expense utilities including trash and excellent Sonic symmetric gigabit fiber internet. Gardener is included as well, though if you like to work on the yard, feel free to do minor work (eg: cutting flowers, picking fruit, weeding, etc). Gas, electric, and water will be on you (though we can keep them in my name to avoid hassle). We love animals, but will require a pet deposit in addition to the normal security deposit if you plan to bring any, and please keep the place clean from pet messes. Absolutely no smoking of any substances on the property.
