This cool & comfy 1st floor duplex is in the heart of Shadyside's shopping district, with easy access to all the wonderment of Downtown Pittsburgh and it's stadiums. 1 mile from the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon and Chatham University...plus The Carnegie Museum, Phipps Conservatory & Frick Museum. We have City buses and Bike Share within 2 blocks if you don't want to hoof it. Close to the major hospitals, like Hillman Cancer Center, Shadyside and Presbyterian Hospitals. The neighborhood is close knit and friendly. It is fun even to just walk the streets to check out architecture of homes and great church's built at the end of the 19th century. There are a plethora of restaurants and bars within a 2 block walk. Shops like Banana Republic, Athleta and an Apple store all within a 2 minute walk. There is a master bedroom with a powder room attached. This room has a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has a very comfy double bed. The 3rd bed is a double sofa bed that is in the living room. Bedding for this bed is in the master bedroom closet. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to dine in. So for you chefs out there...bring it and I will have what you need to create your culinary magic! Towels and linens are provided in abundance and I do have a Aero bed if that is needed. Casual front porch seating area for you to sip coffee/tea or a nice glass of wine or a Pittsburgh craft beer. In the summer, there are room air conditioners and ceiling fans that completely sufficient for your comfort. Street permit parking is provided for one car, but if you have more than one, we will work to make that work. Laundry facility is in the duplex. I have grab bars in the main bathroom and in the shower. Owner pays water, sewage, garbage pick-up, heat and electric. Tenant pays cable/internet.
