You can not cut on them, however they are as durable as a solid surface and require the same maintenance as a solid surface counter tops. The Appliances are GE Cafe in a white finish with Brushed Bronze hardware. The refrigerator is included in the purchase price. There is a locally crafted transom window made of antique crystal and glass leading from the Kitchen to the Half Bath and the Back Door Hall. The Back Door Hall has special ordered coat hooks and a dutch door to keep the dog in so you can clean off their feet before they come in the house. The Half Bath has a apron style Black Walnut vanity and unique wall mirror and sconces. Off the Kitchen into the Garage is a Laundry Room with the same style kitchen cabinetry and solid surface counter tops.
