The fireplace alcove is thin brick by Koni in Rosse Old Chicago style that has been lime washed by hand. The lime wash can be sanded away to expose more of the brick or added to for a less distressed look if preferred by the Buyer. Reading nook cushion is being professionally upholstered. Cushion shown is the temporary cushion until the permanent cushion is complete. Newel post at the bottom of the stairway was purchased from the same online curator of antiques. This post was built in the early 1900's and salvaged from a home in York, Pennsylvania. The flooring is a vinyl plank that can be found in all areas of the house except the stairs. The stair treads are also Black Walnut. The Dining Area features a special ordered distressed chandelier, tall windows and is located off the Kitchen. The Kitchen and Dining also have 9 ft ceilings. The Kitchen cabinetry is plywood construction, painted Maple doors and face frames with soft close hinges and door glides. The drawer boxes are dove tail plywood construction .Not shown in the picture is the library ladder that will access the upper cabinets on the sink side of the kitchen. There is open shelving with the same Black Walnut mentioned on the mantle and stair treads with the 1800's corbels integrated as well. The back splash is a penny tile. The counter tops are also Edge Grain Black Walnut finished in a high build pre-catalyzed lacquer These counter-tops are custom built locally. You can not cut on them, however they are as durable as a solid surface and require the same maintenance as a solid surface counter tops. The Appliances are GE Cafe in a white finish with Brushed Bronze hardware. The refrigerator is included in the purchase price. There is a locally crafted transom window made of antique crystal and glass leading from the Kitchen to the Half Bath and the Back Door Hall. The Back Door Hall has special ordered coat hooks and a dutch door to keep the dog in so you can clean off their feet before they come in the house. The Half Bath has a apron style Black Walnut vanity and unique wall mirror and sconces. Off the Kitchen into the Garage is a Laundry Room with the same style kitchen cabinetry and solid surface counter tops. The Laundry Room also serves as the entry to the house from the garage and has a shiplap wall accent and Black Walnut bench seating. The Master Bedroom features ship lap, a special order chandelier and his and hers reading lights. There are extra large windows looking out to a wooded area of the lot. The Master Bathroom has a private toilet room, his and her vanities, a tiled shower with barrel ceiling and freestanding tub within the shower area. All plumbing fixtures are in an antique replica style in brass. Not shown is the special order glass shower door. There is a special drawer in HER vanity to accommodate a blow dryer and curling or flat irons. There is a large walk in closet off of the bath with 3 stack type shelves and 8 closet rods and a beam that was purposely left exposed and stained. The Family Room is a bonus design above the garage and features random length random width white washed Knotty Pine on the walls and ceiling. This area of the home has baseboard heat. The baseboard heat register has been hidden in a custom made enclosure to hide and protect the register. This has no negative impact on heating and is much more attractive than baseboard registers. The Common Bath features a wall hung basin sink, custom order ledge mirrors, and a hotel style towel bar and shelf. The tub surround is a subway tile. The Upstairs Bedrooms both feature a butcher block style desk with reading lamp, ship lap accent wall, closets with organizers and lights, and unique lighting.
