We kept the historic elements and accented those with new or refurbished period-appropriate materials. The unit has high ceilings and lots of windows, letting in plenty of natural light. Several rooms have the original chandeliers, typical of the time period the home was built. The kitchen has ample storage, including the new cabinetry, an original built-in display cabinet, and a pantry. The bathroom has a newly constructed large walk-in shower with tile and a glass wall. The vanity is handcrafted from a 1930s console radio, complete with a light-up radio display. Temperature control is handled with a new central heat and air conditioning system. It's a 12-minute walk to Bathhouse Row, with beautiful historic homes along the way. The West Mountain hiking trails are right behind the house, and are accessible at a trail head about 100 yards down the street. Utilities are included (gas, water, electricity, shared WiFi).
