Pros:
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
Gated outdoor space for relaxing, dining, or pets
Pet-friendly
Full kitchen for home cooking
Fast Wi-Fi for work or streaming
Central location near Hollywood, Silver Lake, and Griffith Park
Walkable to cafes, shops, and markets
Cons:
Near the freeway, so some traffic noise
If I were to review my own apartment this would be the review:
"I spent a full month at this two-bed, two-bath house and it proved to be the right mix of convenience and comfort for an extended LA stay. The home sits beside the freeway, so you will notice a steady hum indoors; after a couple of nights it blended into background white noise for me, and the instant on-ramp access saved countless minutes on commutes.
Pet-friendly perks The gated front yard was a daily win for my dog: morning zoomies without a leash.
The private driveway fits two cars, eliminating street-parking roulette. Inside, a bright living room, true dining room, and generous closets meant I could actually unpack and live, not just camp out of a suitcase.
Sleep & climate control Both bedrooms have queen memory-foam mattresses (slept really well), individual window A/C units for precise cooling, and a wall heater that takes the morning chill off fast.
Kitchen ready for real cooking plenty of countertop space, deep cabinets, and pots, pans, and gadgets I needed to make cooking feel like home. Several grocery stores are just a short walk away, so stocking up for the month was painless. I also grilled a lot on the propane grill outside which was really great for steaks!
Work-from-home friendly Strong, uninterrupted Wi-Fi plus abundant afternoon light and 2 desks made it easy for both of us to work from home. If you pack heavy, the shared washer/dryer keeps laundry under control.
Verdict For travelers, digital nomads, or relocating professionals who need a pet-friendly base with easy parking, fast internet, and genuine living space, this house checks every long-stay box. "
If you are looking for a house and private stay in a very convenient neighborhood of Los Angeles, look no further! Stay in our 2 bedroom house in the East Hollywood neighborhood.
The house is a little bit older. It is a standalone private house with a yard. Just down the street there are 2 different grocery stores.
Although the neighborhood is very walkable and lively, you might occasionally see unhoused people.
BEDROOM with en suite BATHROOM
The cozy bedroom features a memory foam queen-size bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. It has a large walk in closet where you can fully unpack and move in. The bathroom has a glass enclosed shower and extra shelving to layout all of your toiletries.
BEDROOM 2
This bedroom gets morning sun, but also has blackout curtains ensuring a restful sleep. It also features a memory foam queen-size bed just like the other bedroom. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, while full-length curtains provide the option to block out the sun for extra sleep. The bedroom is street facing so you will hear street noise, especially since the window A/C is in the bedroom.
BATHROOM 2
Our bathroom is the perfect place to refresh for your next adventure. In addition to a full bathtub and shower you will find a hair dryer, shampoo, soap, towels and all of your bath essentials. The home also includes an iron, ironing board, and hangers so you can make yourself at home.
KITCHEN
Our kitchen features full-sized appliances, a microwave, Keurig with K-cups provided, pots and pans, salt and pepper and all cooking necessities. It also has lots and lots of countertop space which makes it easy for people to cook together.
LIVING ROOM
Log into your Netflix, HBO, and other streaming services on our Roku smart TV. High-speed WiFi throughout the unit. The living room sofa also folds out into a queen-size bed.
DINING ROOM
The separate dining room space seats 4 to 6 people comfortably. The table is large for family meals or to have friends over.
FRONT AND SIDE YARD
The front and side yard are gated so that your furry friends can enjoy the outside freely. There is a front garden area as well as a garden area in the side yard. Feel free to plant the garden of your dreams. Also the front porch has chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or to just sit, relax and people watch.
