Tucked away on a quiet street and within walking distance of cafes and New Seasons, the Grove is an intergenerational (21-60+) co-living community consisting of four interconnected houses that share a courtyard. This unit is located in one of the main houses, which is shared by eight people. The room is on the first floor, has its own bathroom with a tub, and has a private exterior entrance. This room is currently available.
Our community has a wide variety of personalities, backgrounds, and identities (LGBT+ friendly) and we enjoy getting together for sometimes planned, sometimes spontaneous community dinners and gatherings. Community members have a good balance of opportunities to spend time with others and having their own space to retreat to.
We are a low/no drama community, and while we enjoy the occasional dance party, we have quiet hours, and the atmosphere is generally very peaceful. We are looking for housemates who have the time and energy to contribute a few hours a month to community living. This includes regularly attending our monthly community meeting, contributing a few hours per month to a team, and doing your household chores. We value open and direct communication, people who clean up after themselves in the common areas, and those who generally like helping out. Some of our interests include gardening, art, making music, going to concerts, dancing, reading, karaoke, board games, community, and drinking tea.
