Looking for a roommate to share the spacious first floor of a lovely split house about 5 minutes walk south of the Commons in Ithaca. Walking distance to multiple parks and groceries. Rent in this location has been frozen for 5 years, which means you definitely get what you pay for! See floor plan for size of the second bedroom. There are two closets in the room, and a queen-sized futon is provided (optional) with comfy bedding shown in photo. Workout rack and computer desk will be moved from the second bedroom to my bedroom prior to tenant moving in. Combined kitchen and dining area is large with gas stove and all appliances already provided in unit. Washer/dryer are in back room behind kitchen (not pictured). Bathroom is spartan but clean and in great condition. It also comes with fun rugs! Lots of large windows throughout the apartment gives it an airy feel. There is also a porch out front! I am a young professional in his 20s working standard daytime hours just outside of town. I'm clean and pretty chill most of the time. I'm often out of the house on weekends going on adventures with friends. Looking for someone who will collaborate to keep the place clean and fun to live in! There is a $750 security deposit. Landlord pays for water. I will pay for heating and garbage tags. Internet is shared and adds $35/mo. My cat Meadow is social and sweet, and she will greet you at the door when you get home. Unfortunately she does not help with any of the chores. No additional pets are allowed per the landlords current rules. If you have a cat, we can work with the landlord to allow an additional cat. Sublease length and start date is somewhat flexible as long as it ends by Aug 31st, 2023. You can work with the landlord to renew under a formal lease after that period if you wish to stay longer!
